Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Announced
The biggest action game series of all time is back with a vengeance

Today, Activision and Treyarch announced Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the direct sequel to the original and fan-favorite Call of Duty: Black Ops. Developed by Treyarch and scheduled for release on November 13th, Black Ops Cold War will drop players into the depths of the Cold War's global conflicts. From secret operations to explosive firefights, the game will deliver an adrenaline-pumping experience across its Multiplayer, Zombies, and Campaign modes.

Black Ops Cold War's Multiplayer mode takes the series' core gameplay to new heights, featuring gritty, grounded combat with a focus on player choice and customization. Players will engage in a variety of thrilling experiences across a wide range of maps and modes, including traditional 6v6, larger-scale Combined Arms, and a brand-new Fireteam mode. The game will also introduce a new Gunsmith system that allows players to build and modify their weapons with an unprecedented level of choice and personalization.
Black Ops Cold War also delivers the biggest Zombies offering in series history, featuring an all-new storyline, new Perks and Field Upgrades, and a variety of undead enemies. Players can team up with friends or go solo in a variety of modes, including a new Outbreak mode that delivers a massive, squad-based Zombies experience unlike anything seen before.
The game's thrilling Campaign mode picks up where the original Black Ops left off, dropping players into a global conspiracy that threatens to destabilize the world. Players will encounter familiar characters and visit iconic locations as they unravel a sinister plot involving historical figures and hardened operatives.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available for pre-order now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will be released on November 13th, 2020.
